Each week the USA TODAY Education online staff selects three "Best Bets" sites it feels would be of educational value to our audience of subscribers and guests.  Links to these sites are listed on the USA TODAY Education home page for a one-week period and are then archived with a brief description for search purposes.

Fewer than 150 sites are selected each year as USA TODAY Education "Best Bet" Web sites.  Again, congratulations!

Hello! My name is Nivea and I am from the Los Angeles , CA area. I am contacting you because I happen to have come across your fabulous web page while I was researching for the new school year. I am "stealing" all og your wonderful ideas and will try to put as many into practice next year.

Hi Katie.

I'm a 5th grade teacher in Elk Grove, CA and I have been completely blown away by your website.  you do some AMAZING stuff with your students!  I've been teaching 13 years....but this is only my 3rd year at elementary...I was junior high before this.  Anyway....I'm trying to get the whole binder concept nailed down.  I absolutely love the ipod idea.  I really like your graphic too.  Is there any way you could send me your iPod graphic not as a pdf....I'd love to use it...but I'd rather have my name not yours!  :)  I also really like the blog idea!  I've been trying to figure out exactly how to use a blog...and that might be a really good first step.  Your classroom economy is out of this world....but too much for me to wrap my brain around right at this moment!
Thanks so much.
Jen Hammond

WOW! What a great site . Thanks so much.

Hello,

I just wanted to send you a note and let you know that I really enjoyed your website!

I teach grades 3-6 at a private school in York, PA and I am always looking for new and interesting ideas to incorporate in my classroom.  I found your website when I was researching different classroom arrangements/suggestions.  The links to the other classrooms were also very helpful.  It was so interesting to see how each teacher has made their classroom unique and interesting without being overwhelming to the students.

Your willingness to share your time and talents are really appreciated.  I liked your philosophy that by sharing our classroom "secrets" we all become better teachers.

Hope you have a terrific 2008-2009 school year!

Thanks for your time,

Jennifer McCary

My name is Kari and I am a new 4th grade teacher.  I taught kindergarten last year, but this year I will be in 4th grade.  I absolutely love your website.  Kuddos to you for all of your hard work.  I was wondering what program you used to create your website.  I would love to be able to use a website with my 4th graders.  Thanks so much!

Hi, my name is Nicole Miller and I'm a 4th grade teacher in Soledad, CA. I recently found your outstanding class website and I am interested in the reading bingo forms...what they are, how they look, etc.

I thought I might be able to download a form from your site, however I was not. If possible, would you be able to send me a copy of what they look like? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Again, I really enjoyed your website...got some good ideas.

I love your website!  It is absolutely wonderful.  I teach 4th grade and I would like to see your BINGO boards and monthly genres.  It sounds like a great idea.  Would you like to share?  I would really appreciate it.  I have a  neat project that I am going to do on Famous Americans if you'd like it.

Thanks!  Colleen McGettigan
